karma is a funny thing
shortly after having my kitty's teeth yanked, I chomped down on a particularly crunchy french fry at a nice restaraunt and my back molar on the bottom cracked, taking a nice chunk out of the side of my tooth. Fortunately for me it doesn't hurt at all, just is fairly sharp...sigh. And so, holding out till January if I can to go to the dentist. I have a terrible fear of the dentist, sigh sigh sigh.
Romeo is doing much better, finally. He hated me for a long while. Would run when we came near, would hide behind the couch and wouldn't sleep with us at night. It was awful, seeing him so changed. He's better now, and every day he is becoming more like his old self.

Ouch! Poor you. I've had a similar problem (though it was a wisdom tooth that cracked and, eventually, had to be yanked). Do you have insurance coverage yet or is it still waiting to kick in?

Ha! I did the same thing about a month ago too! It was so sharp that my tongue kept bleeding and I couldn't talk. I went to the dentist and he just filed it down to a softer point. Hi. You don't know me, but I thought it was funny that the same thing just happened to me too. Oh...and I like your blog.

Oh I can so relate! The week before Thanksgiving I had four teeth pulled two wisdom and two molars. The Molars had crack due to the force of the wisdom teeth coming and and the lack of room in my mouth for them. But one thing I learned form it all (being fearful of dentisist myself) Oral surgerons are very different from dentist. Just be sure it doesn't become infected or swollen. !! I still have to go back to have the other side removed. But trying to hold out for after the new year.
